I bought this little gem for my I bought this little gem for my Ford Ranger. Evidently, I'm going through a mid-life crisis of sorts because I decided to add a 3 inch lift, bigger tires, and sweet wheels and get a little bit of that truck's youthful mojo back! After all, it was my first car after college and the only vehicle I ever bought new. I like that truck.
Only one problem with the truck--it didn't have bluetooth. I like talking on the phone hands free while driving and I thought I'd give this one a shot. This was way easier to setup and get started that I thought it would be. The audio is clear. I plug my phone in to the radio so that I can use the Car Play features Only 2 left in stock - order soon. The FM radio works really well and playing from the SD card also. The power is better than I expected. I also did not know that it has a remote control and a removable faceplate- so that is a plus. The SD card slot is part of the main body and does not come off with the faceplate.
The only thing I would improve on is the display- it would be nice to have a larger and more readable display; right now if I want to read it I have to really stare at it closely and focus on it. That is not good to do while driving. But I am not complaining since the cost was so low I'll update this review if something material changes.
